Sephora Picks Up Teen Skincare Line

Sephora has become notorious for being an attraction for kids just as much as adult beauty lovers.

The retailer, however, whose slogan is “We Belong to Something Beautiful,” is stocking its shelves with a new skincare brand created by teens for teens (with a little parental supervision). Sincerely Yours is designed to give developing skin the products it needs, and nothing more says the brand.

The brand, co-founded by father-daughter creators, Jordan and Salish Matter, debuts with a collection that features four clinically-tested and Sephora Clean-certified products that are effective and approved by teens, parents and dermatologists. While the products aim to help support skin through every stage, the brand is reportedly on a mission to make skincare fun, approachable and confidence-boosting.

The Line

Four products are formulated with the brand’s Barrier Friendly Formula (an endearing acronym for BFF). It entails a blend of encapsulated, time-release hyaluronic acid, niacinamide and ceramides.

Kindly Clean Hydrating Cleanser ($22) is a creamy, non-stripping cleanser that melts away makeup and impurities while leaving skin clean, balanced and hydrated;

Hit Fresh Soothing Serum Mist ($24) is a lightweight, all-over serum spray that calms and helps rebalance skin after cleansing or anytime throughout the day;

So Soft Lightweight Moisturizer ($26) is a calming gel-cream moisturizer that delivers lasting hydration while supporting the skin’s barrier all day/night;

Sunny Side Up Mineral Sunscreen ($28) is a silky, hydrating mineral SPF that blends effortlessly into skin, providing clean sun protection while moisturizing, soothing and strengthening the skin barrier.
